Read ins are an opportunity to get to know the readers in your own community. Held at 6PM in your timezone on July 22nd, find a read in (or host one!) in your area to make some new friends and read together. Because of COVID-19 this year we’re going fully digital. When 6PM on Wednesday night rolls around, click on the link on your community’s box down below to join the Zoom call!
What will you do at the read in? We have a suggestion for a schedule! Your read in doesn’t have to follow this schedule, but we recommend it as an outline!
6:00 – Introductions! (Say hi! Share what you’re reading!)
6:30 – Read! (That’s right! Read! Enjoy the glory of reading with others!)
7:00 – Read a favourite passage out loud! (You all just read a bunch! Pick a favourite passage and read it to the group!)
7:30 – Take a group photo! (We want to see it! Post it in the Read-In forum so that we can share!)
